Enervon partner’s cup Prime Asia pads win streak to 6

CEBU, Philippines - The Prime Asia Lending-UV Green Lancers picked up where they left off, scoring another effortless 101-71 annihilation of San Marino Tuna-CIT-U to open their second round campaign in the Enervon CESAFI Partner's Cup 2013 basketball tournament last night at the Cebu Coliseum.
There was no stopping for Prime Asia's onslaught as it nailed its sixth consecutive victory without meeting tough opposition since the start of the tournament. A seventh win in a row is on the way when Prime Asia takes on the Lion Tiger-USPF Panthers, who were still playing against the listless Raphael's Café/USJ-R Jaguars as of this writing last night.
John Michael Abad led all Prime Asia scorers with 14 points, while Alfred Codilla chipped in 11 markers.
Prime Asia broke the game wide open as early in the second quarter with a 15-point lead, 39-24. They ended the first half with a highlight as Steve Cedrick Akomo beat the halftime buzzer with a monster slam.
Later in the game, there was another attending-drawing play, this time from the other Prime Asia recruit Mike Harry Nzensseu but his one-handed dunk didn't go in.
Only Allan Dimco scored in double figures with 15 points for San Marino, which suffered its fourth loss in six starts.
