Bakeshop chain makes debut in hospitality industry

CEBU, Philippines - The group behind the Park ‘n Go Bakeshop chain has ventured into the hospitality industry opening a boutique hotel along Gov. Cuenco Ave. corner M.L. Quezon Ave., Nasipit Talamban, Cebu City.
Aicila Suites which derives its name from the owner, Mrs. Alicia Rama Ty, is the first hotel opened in the area. It features 30 fully furnished rooms classified into standard, deluxe, suite, and a dormitory which can accommmodate 10 guests.
Each room is tastefully done with Mrs. Ty herself helping in the design of the hotel’s interiors to “achieve that elegant and luxurious atmosphere.”
“At Aicila Suites, we want our customers to experience luxury hotel service at affordable price,” says Rheyna “Daynah” Razo, hotel operations managers.
“For as low as P1,150, guests can already enjoy an overnight stay and breakfast for two at Aicila,” Razo added.
Aicila Suites is also giving exciting treats and perks to Club Aicila members. For only P5,500, club members are entitled to 15% discount on F&B, 10% on functions, and free three nights stay at a Deluxe Room.
In addition to Wi-Fi and shuttle service, Aicila Suites facilities also include the Balkon Resto Bar on the second floor which is a great place to unwind; High-Definition Family KTV where guests could also play their favorite video games, watch the latest movies, or simply listen to favorite music; Roofdeck Function Room boasting of state-of-the-art lighting system and audio-visual equipment. It is the perfect place to hold meetings, seminars, weddings, conferences or private functions.
The hotel also houses 7-Eleven and Park ‘n Go outlets on the ground floor.
Following its first hotel venture in Cebu City, the Park ‘n Go Bakeshop group headed by Mrs. Ty, is looking at opening more hotels in the Visayas and Mindanao areas where the group already has land bank particularly in Bohol and Misamis Occidental.
