Plantation Bay’s homemade ice cream

CEBU, Philippines - Can’t shake off the 36.4 temp ever recorded this year? Rush to Plantation Bay’s Savannah Grill and indulge in their homemade ice cream concocted by Chef Henry Abellana, as approved by founder/chief executive officer Emmanuel C. Gonzalez.
Media people during the recent launch of “Summer Frolix 2013” also enjoyed a scoop of each flavor – peanut butter and vanilla; as well as jackfruit grown in the vicinity of Plantation Bay.
The not-so-secret ingredient which makes the ice cream a hit is the creamer from Denmark. And because jackfruits are grown locally, it ripens while still hanging from the tree. This gives the ice cream a very natural full flavor and an aroma that lingers.
